Emma Whitenstall

Emma has over a decade of experience in the cultural sector, supporting and empowering creatives to do their best work. Her work has been varied, from producing TEDx and Thinking Digital Conferences, to Executive Director at Festival of Thrift, and working with creative freelancers and businesses through network development and business support programme design at Generator and Dynamo North East.

Emma is passionate about culture and believes that everyone should have the opportunity to access, influence, learn and benefit from the arts. She is hugely excited to be working with Company of Others, an organisation working in her local community, that truly makes this possible.

In her spare time, Emma loves to travel the country with her family (and Betsy the dog) in their self-build campervan discovering hidden gems & enjoying nature. She can also be found gardening, cooking and sewing.
