Grief Floats (2020-25)

Grief Floats is a protest, an honouring, a remembering.

It is a long term project which will offer ways of reconnecting the mind and body during times of grief through workshops, discussions and performances.

The performance is set in the North Sea, Grief Floats will be Company of Others’ first outdoor work premiering at King Edward’s Bay, North Tyneside.

Grief Floats is a gentle protest, an act of remembering, and an offer of a moment of communal reflection on all we have lost and are losing, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the North Sea. Grief Floats will be Company of Others’ first outdoor work premiering at King Edwards Bay, Tynemouth.

Performance Dates & Times:
Thursday 10th August*: 14:30 & 18:45
*There will be a post show discussion with the Choreographer and Rehearsal Director at 15:45 on the beach

Friday 11th August: 17:00

Saturday 12th August: 5:15am

Sunday 13th August: 17:15

All times are subject to change due to weather and water conditions. If performance times change, or are cancelled we will notify audiences through our social media and  Eventbrite as soon as possible
