Louise is currently Head of Finance at Rich Mix, an arts centre in East London and has worked in the arts as a performer and manager for almost 25 years. After studying Dance at Manchester Metropolitan University, she moved to Bath and danced with local companies, performing at festivals and gaining experience in arts management.
Since then, she has developed arts activities for young people at The Courtyard Youth Arts Centre; supported emerging companies and community artists at The Rondo Theatre; built relationships with rural communities at Oxfordshire Theatre Company; worked with internationally renowned choreographer Shobana Jeyasingh and was Finance Manager for international theatre company Complicité.
Outside of work she is passionate about hiking, especially in the mountains, and the many physical and mental health benefits it brings. She finds that many a problem is solved while out walking!
