Young Trustees Wanted: Help Shape the Future of Company of Others

Are you aged 25 or under and passionate about movement, community, and making change through the arts?

Company of Others is seeking Young Trustees to join our Board and help us lead with integrity, care, and creativity.

You don’t need any previous Trustee experience. We’ll offer guidance and support to help you grow into the role. Just bring your curiosity, commitment, and a belief that your voice deserves to be heard!

Who we are:

Company of Others is a dance theatre company based in the North East of England, led by Artistic Director and Choreographer Nadia Iftkhar.

At the centre of our work is our co-creation method which ensures we truly collaborate with the communities we work with and belong to, to create bold dance theatre experiences that instigate change.

We work with children and young people, elders, women Seeking Sanctuary, movement artists, and communities often excluded from the arts. We create bold dance theatre projects like Grief Floats, while also running regular programmes like Walker Youth Dance Project and Company of Others Ensemble.

In 2024, we became the first Dance Company of Sanctuary.

Our core values are ArtistryIntegrity & Equity.
