Company of Others is a dance theatre company based in the North East of England, led by Artistic Director & CEO, Nadia Iftkhar.
As the company enters its 11th year, and our current Chair of the Board of Trustees, Hilary Knight comes to the end of her term, we are seeking a new Chair to support the organisation through an important phase of growth and development.
Working closely with our Artistic Director & CEO and Board of Trustees, the Chair will help guide the organisation with care, integrity and strategic insight as we continue balancing artistic ambition, community accountability and organisational sustainability.
This role goes beyond traditional governance. We are looking for someone who believes leadership can be relational as well as strategic, and who feels aligned with our values and ways of working.
Applications are especially encouraged from people who identify as d/Deaf, Disabled, Black, Asian, SWANA, Global Majority, LGBTQIA+ and/or Working Class and who feel aligned with Company of Others’ mission and ways of working.
